A way to meet you over and over again
When I meditate, I've started noticing the electricity and energy crackling at the edges of my being. The "empty space" comes alive with vibrating particles, silently inviting us to dance. This is the importance of practice - a way to meet you over and over again.
When I meditate, I've started noticing the electricity and energy crackling at the edges of my being.
Somehow, with sustained awareness, the "empty space" around me comes alive. Vibrating particles surround us, silently inviting us to dance with them. It becomes too joyous to ignore, so my still meditation practice has transformed lately.
I've intuitively started weaving my arms in the air, swaying and twisting my torso, remaining seated but also engaged with the music of being alive.
I can sense the blood rushing through my veins, my heart thumping to keep the rhythm steady, my breath cooling my passion; my inner fire. To have free will is a gift – I get to decide to enjoy the passage of time.
At the start and end of each meditation session, I do a mirror portion where I gaze upon my reflection and accept the depth in my eyes.
I am here, I am me, and I am alive.
With all the fear, the ragebait, the feelings of "not enough", the shame, the guilt, the grief – all of these emotions will pass. Surely, even these moments of remembrance will pass as I continue about my day.
But then I will sit to meditate again and recall my aliveness.
This is the importance of practice - a way to meet you over and over again.
I am grateful we get to be alive together, even apart.
Thanks for being here.
Sincerely,
Nadine of the New Moon ♥
